Padma tells them that they will have to move fast and adapt to the elements. And their pantry? Well, it’s a bunch of food trapped in ice. They have to take ice picks and literally chip their food out. Because that always happens! It is an everyday occurance that chefs much chip their ingredients out of massive blocks of ice! In fact, it is so commonplace, I am surprised they are doing this at all. What a normal, logical situation  for chefs in a cooking competition. This will clearly demonstrate their ability to create delicious food!
